What’s Wrong With This Picture?

Why is it that in January, many retailers cut their help back so much that customers get as little help on the floor, and stand in fewer lines that are just as long and irritating as they did during the holiday season?

Customers put up with it short-term (and usually with good cheer). To capitalize on seasonal good will, this January don’t cut back so far. Your growth as a business depends on customer joy bringing repeat and referral revenue, not on slicing payroll expenses. Be the company that’s quick, helpful, and at the ready, and customers will spread the word. In some industries this art is so lost it’s becoming a competitive advantage.

Grow and be well,
