Pushan,

I do my vest to rant usefully.
:)

Thanks for stopping to comment, I hope you'll take a look around and find lots more you can use. Helping managers and owners to create Maximum Customer Experience, one tweak at a time, is what it's all about here!

Regards,

Kelly

Darla,

It's a relational database program. Kinda geeky but very handy for putting info together that you want to reference in different ways, for instance with a contact database, and an orders database, that cross-reference each other. I can find out everything Joe Smith has ordered under his info, and I can also find Joe Smith's address when typing in his next order.

I hear you about keeping frustrating elements to a minimum. Simplify, simplify, simplify. Of course for me this program usually does that... *sigh.*

It's amazing how many companies seem to think they'd get along so much better if it weren't for all these pesky customers.

Thanks for stopping to comment!

Regards,

Kelly

Reminds me of a Customer Service Sign: "Please solve your problems in advance so we can better serve you."

I don't even know what FileMaker Pro IS. It might be great, but I have been able to get by without it so far. Maybe you should just trash it and try to forget you ever used it.

I'm starting to feel like things this frustrating aren't worth wasting your wonderful life on!

Mark,

That really is awful. Keeping you waiting like that! Definitely NOT Maximum Customer Experience, you're right.

I hope now that you've gotten through it, you're feeling much better.

Regards,

Kelly

My last few post describe a "Maximum Customer Experience" of a different venue than yours. If nothing else it might make an interesting read.
