Kelly,
I love it! Now, can we riff off of your last post, and substitute “manager” for “pig”?

Brett,
Never teach a manager to sing, or are you a pig or a leader?
Hehehe. Works either way.
Regards,
Kelly

Pigs should be scratched behind their ears. I don’t know about managers, though.

Ellen,
LOL! Perfect!

Ellen,
Not sure if that works for managers, but it works for me. But I think (I hope!) I’m too polite to be a pig
30 April 2008, 8:03 pm
Now, everyone, be nice!
We shouldn’t insult pigs by putting them in the same category as managers.

Ha! I like that one, Friar. You just never know where a semi-innocent post will go.
I’m glad this struck a funny bone… honestly I had some unreachable employees in mind when I chose this one, but there are plenty of unreachable managers, too.
Seriously, to any managers who wind up here accidentally, go back one post, and resolve to become leaders. Then you can come back here and make a few staff jokes to balance things out.
Three nuclear-facility staffers walk into a bar…

Piggy proverbs and life lessons
Sometimes you can argue until you are blue in the face and fail to make your point. And then you can make statements as short and stupid as the ones in this post and make your point beautifully

A great idea for a management paperback. Everyone airport departure lounge bookshop should have one. Steven Covey watch out – the business pig is on your shoulder. Actually you inspired me to root out a few more piggy words of wisdom.

Shaun,
I love those quotes! I was wishing for some more piggy wisdom!
Folks, Shaun has indeed rooted out some good ones, go check it out. LOL!

OMG!
Hahahahah!
Don’t even get me STARTED on Nuclear Facility Staffers!
(Ooops, I better not say any more..). Big Brother might be listening.

Friar,
That’s why the stairs are fixed.
1 May 2008, 2:36 pm
Yes Friar.
You Are Number Six.
1 May 2008, 2:40 pm
But who is Number One?
Oh my goodness now I really have to go.
1 May 2008, 7:29 pm
My wife is Number One.
1 May 2008, 8:01 pm
Brett,
Though I haven’t seen the final episode for at least a year, I knew that then. Didn’t know you yet, but the wife of a Canadian nuclear engineer and mother of four who (probably) wasn’t born when the series wrapped was clearly the only logical answer.
(In spite of the final episode, I am the hugest fan of The Prisoner and Mr. McGoohan’s genius.)
Hehehe. Off-topic and taking a break from writing, too. Oh, dear…
Later,
Kelly
Will Patrick McGoohan make an appearance in tomorrow’s Brand Propheteers article? Tune in next time…
Oh, probably not.
