To Go Where Your VisionPoints, a few inspiration points for you and your business.
The best time to make friends is before you need them.
—Ethel Barrymore
This week, scratch a back. Not because they might scratch yours; because it’s the right thing to do. Because you feel good for doing it. A little zen thought for your business. The best time is now.
Grow and be well,

Ha! Well said. I make friends whenever I run into someone I like. A certain spark resonates. This saying is kind of like, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” And friends should add to your life, and not take away.

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Ethel Barrymore?

Ellen,
I agree, they should add to your life. With good ones, you can add to theirs without that funny feeling that the other guy is just a taker. Works as well in business as in “real” life.
Friar,
A brilliant actress, sister of John and Lionel (Lionel was the mean banker Mr. Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” John was in tons of stuff). “Portrait of Jennie” is my favorite movie she was in. Also great-aunt of Drew. I love old movies, and a lot of the actors from back then had actual opinions, which makes quote collecting easy. Not all their quotes belong here, though!
Regards,
Kelly
