My car's got some gashes, which at its age I'll probably leave there (though it pains my vanity a bit). The lady (seatbelt-free as well as uninterested in the other rules of the road) seemed dazed but fine. She definitely got the worst of it, which my daughter defined as "fair, since she did the hitting." I guess so. I took my daughter out for the graduation meal of her choice, which is always Mexican, always at the same place. We'd eat there until we looked like piñatas if she had her way. We sat by the fishies and she had me describe the event in detail from thirty different angles. Kids apparently think accidents are fascinating. It's been 20 years since my last and I hope it will be another 20 until my next, so this will be the only time she can quiz me about an accident, while she is still a kid. :) All things considered, it turned out very well, and the florist taught me a bit about Maximum Customer Experience.
