To Go Where Your VisionPoints, a few inspiration points for you and your business.
Success isn’t permanent, and failure isn’t fatal.
—Mike Ditka
I like Mike. We’re talking about logos and naming this week. If you did it wrong when you were a tiny startup, flying by the seat of your pants, take the wisdom you’ve gained and rebrand! Bigger companies than yours have done it, and succeeded.
He was talking about football, where every week is a W or a L. No grey areas for Mike. That’s rough, but not insurmountable. Go easy on yourself, and keep moving forward.
In business and in life, there are many shades of grey. Learn from them all, and savor your Wins.
Grow and be well,

Funny, how in the States, it all comes down to football!

Friar,
Next time, Wayne Gretzky, eh? Though the one quotation I know of from him is *way* overused in business circles. I’d kind of hate to repeat it here.
Brett,
Yes, it’s one of my favorite ones. The funny thing is, I think it’s harder to get a handle on “success isn’t permanent”—we tend to think once we’re headed up we have it made. Start coasting, and you can be in trouble fast. People forget that.
Ups and downs, nothing to get too complacent or excited about. I like his thinking on this.
Regards,
Kelly
