Mmm, bacon. My favorite breakfast is homemade waffles, fresh strawberry-syrup, and bacon or sausage. Any time of day. (The kid loves breakfast at nighttime, and I must agree with her.)

Now I’m hungry.

I get optimistic about breakfast too…but it has to involve bacon.

If it’s just toast or oatmeal….MEH.

Well, I was always happy as a clam up north in February, but I’m cheerful like that about long months with low light and crackling fires that finally become too much of a chore and such.

Tesla was a weird dude (the kid’s doing a report on him)—it seems he really only liked to starting things. I guess months was no exception, but for the fact that you can’t hand your month off to someone else to execute!

I dunno…February is one of my favorit winter months. It’s not as consistently cold as January. And the days start to get noticeable longer.

But up here in the Great White North, you never know what you’re gonna get each month. (We just had another foot of snow yesterday).
