To Go Where Your VisionPoints, a few inspiration points for you and your business.

Even if you haven’t encountered great success yet, there is no reason you can’t bluff a little and act like you have. Confidence is a magnet in the best sense of the word. It will draw people to you and make your daily life… and theirs… a lot more pleasant.
—Donald Trump

Do you ask to see a restaurant’s annual revenues before deciding to eat? Isn’t a great review of their quality food enough to get you in the door?

Must a store be paying its owner a full-time salary before it’s worthy of your business? If so, I’ll guarantee you’ll need to be selective about the small businesses where you shop. There are a lot more rules about what you’ve got to pay an employee than there are about paying yourself.

It’s a bit off-topic for me, but I’m curious, because I’ve been hearing a bit of carping on this subject lately:

Why do we think it’s any of our business whether an Internet-based entrepreneur or blogger makes a full-time salary from their work?

I say go ahead and fake it ‘til you make it. If you’re a professional, if I like your work and trust you, and if I have a need you can fill, I don’t care if you’re “daylighting.”

What do you say?
