Alex,

The difference between "not worrying" and "complacency" is need. But not a need for things.

I'm not much for worrying, myself—confident Capricorn and all, worries would just get in my way—but I feel the need to improve/ excel/ provide delight in my bones. Really.

Like a shark, who has to swim or he dies. If I weren't diligently striving, I'd sink. And like I said, I'm afraid to fail! At times in my life I've changed what I'm striving for, but I have a need to be reaching at all times for the brass ring.

I don't think it's either there or it's not, either. I think it can be cultivated. I think this need is one you can encourage to grow in yourself, if you've found your right work and have a passion for bringing it to others.

My humble, yet deeply felt, opinion.

Regards,

Kelly

Hmmmm... Sometimes I wonder if my laid back attitude of not NEEDING things keeps me from the success I crave. What's the difference between not worrying and complacency?
