Graham,

Not that you're equating it with losing weight, exactly, but that you're equating it with feeling so rockin' awesome you feel like you lost weight, is how I understand the idea.

"Godiva truffles: so incredible you feel 10 lbs. lighter."

Okay, so it won't work for every industry.

;)

In B2B folks say making XYZ purchasing decision makes you look good in front of your boss; in B2C we try things like you'll be more attractive to the opposite sex if you own ABC... IMO it's the same thing, said better.

Until later,

No, good for George AND for you! With MEPs, you don't need to worry about being in top spot, because even if you're not, "all roads lead back to Rome". You both bask in each other's glory, Google-wise.

And yes, great sentiment on the Benz quotation. I'm not quite sure that I would equate buying a luxury car with losing weight though, but hey... Did you ever see "Crazy People" with Dudley Moore? His tagline for the Jag said it best, I think... (won't repeat it hear -- the movie was rated for an audience older than The Kid. 'Nuff said...)

Graham,

All I can say to that is: Poor George.

Did you make a post-it out of the Benz quotation? The goal is to make the individual buying from you feel awesome, whatever the industry, and he said it so memorably. Love it.

Thanks to you for being an MCE-MEP!!

Regards,

I just did a quick Google of "enthusiastic proselytizers" {but without the quotes) just to get the full, rounded definition and found that MCE actually takes the top spot over George's blog (he's third actually). I suppose that's the power of enthusiastic proselytizers in action!

Spawns a great new tagline too: MCE for MEP. (Well, maybe only as shorthand for the already converted...)
