Still, many people are willing to be led. Too few are even willing to take that first, private step of composing a completely original idea in their basement—maybe the resources and the long-term commitment scare them off from their first steps in composition, or maybe like Kettering says, they don&#039;t have the imagination in the first place.

Yep. You are definitely a composer. It&#039;s a great job for a big thinker with plenty of energy. (You&#039;d be so trapped as a fiddler for someone else!)
