Pinpoint focus on What Who matters most, of course!

A satisfied customer made this paycheck possible.
What a subtle, brilliant way to remind your employees that their focus doesn’t need to be on you—it needs to be on the folks who really pay their salaries.
Imagine yourself in their shoes and deliver delight to those customers, and everybody wins. ‘Nuff said.
Grow and be well,

I agree with this wholeheartedly and wish that more store/service personnel would act accordingly. Too many times I’ve received crappy service somewhere and thought “You keep this up and you won’t be in business in another year or two”. Of course these people, for the most part, don’t care. They’ll get their paycheck regardless. When their business fails, and they’re being laid off, many still don’t figure it out. These days, with the economy being what it is, and social media all over the place, you simply can’t afford to piss off a customer.

What a brilliant idea! Unless, of course, the checks were received via electronic deposit. But even then, they could include the customer-centric phrase via email….

Sylvia,
Hi! Welcome to Maximum Customer Experience!
It’s such a shame when service is like that. Way, way back when I was at McDonald’s as a teen, they used to say that the customer pays the bills, and that includes signing our paychecks. It’s a lesson that’s never left me. (Haha, I wonder if the person who thought up this paycheck used to work at McD’s.) Anyway, it’s always seemed to me that if McDonald’s could get it right all the way back then, it ought to be something that more companies can pass on to their staff.
This is a start, at least! Maybe it’ll catch on, eh?
Barbara,
Ooh, yes! An e-check reminder like this would be very cool. I love that. Another great idea that deserves to catch on.
Regards,
Kelly
