Ah, yes! Put it aside, but not for too long… plan, but don’t plan it to death. And a good partner will help you see the flaws as well as the fantastic parts, so that’s another great tip!

Hey Kelly.

I spent a lot of time at the patent office with my father, so when I’d have a good idea for the web my initial reaction was “protection.” I’ve learned to put that aside though and partner with like-minded people for my ideas. Best to get it out there and saturate the market as fast as possible instead of worrying if every contingency is covered before jumping in. And the fastest way to do so is through partnering.

I’m so with you on #3, well, I’m with you on all of them actually. But #3 is a biggie, the Business Plan. Ok, I’m biased because I just launched a new Two Hour Business Plan product – but it’s because I saw the need for it and the results a plan will get.
